Tulane's Southern Institute Launches Cultural Competency Discussion Site
The Southern Institute for Education and Research at Tulane University launches a website to discuss standards and evaluation methods for cultural competency training.
The site contains a "working paper" that addresses effective ways to measure changes in knowledge, awareness, skills and behavior gained from cultural competency training programs. This site is relevant to post-Katrina work in that it addresses the challenges of working in multicultural settings. The link below will allow you to access the site:
