Biography
Andrew Lakoff is an assistant professor in sociology at the University of California, San Diego. He was trained as an anthropologist at U.C. Berkeley, and was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard from 2000-2002. His areas of interest include pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, technologies of the self, globalization processes, the history of the human sciences, and visual culture.
